These are beyond simple to make, like to the point that it barely qualifies as a recipe. There are thousands of things you can do to customize them to your liking.
the goods
- 6-8 oz fruit juice. I used one with hidden vegetables, because I'm sneaky like that.
- 4 strawberries, diced
- 6 oz raspberry yogurt
- popsicle mold; mine makes 4
Add the juice equally to each mold, coming up about halfway, then add the diced strawberries. You could freeze them a bit at this point to set the juice and make your layers all pretty, but I'm way to impatient for that. I just went for it.
I was pretty proud of myself for buying juice with hidden veggies in it. When I got home I noticed that it, in fact, has added sugar. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Oh well.
Using a spoon, add the yogurt to each mold. A fancy mom would use organic Greek free trade yogurt. Mine was store brand. Top off with more juice if you need to so that the liquid fills the mold completely.
I found that if they get a bit stuck when you try to pull the pops out, just run them under a bit of water.
I got my mold at Target a few years back. You can also use old yogurt cups and insert popsicle sticks or sturdy straws if you don't want to buy a mold.

Henry was much more excited about this snack than the usual healthy vegetable carrot sticks goldfish. Score one for me.
